Hoop It Up 2023 was created to commemorate National Sports Day and the birth anniversary of Indian hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. The event, held on August 29, celebrates sportsmanship and athleticism, and coincides with the birthday of MIT World Peace University Executive President Shri. Rahul V. Karad. Over the years, Hoop It Up has grown into a grand affair, attracting over 80 teams, 1000 participants, and 100 matches. The event instils valuable life skills and values in participants, promoting teamwork, discipline, and fair play, shaping young athletes into responsible and well-rounded individuals.

Max Players – 12 per team +7 substitutes

Eligibility restriction - No Cross Teams

Important Rules

1. All teams must arrive at the respective venue 30 minutes before the scheduled time of their fixtures.

2. Teams arriving 15 minutes after their scheduled match will be forced to forfeit the match.

3. Any misconduct on or off the field during the event will lead to immediate disqualification from the tournament.

4. Matches may be delayed if unforeseen circumstances arise.

5. Participants must present the previous year's marksheet when requested by the organizing committee or at the registration desk

6. Teams must submit the Unique ID (ERP) logged in on the respective institution's portal for each player before the event begins.

7. Participants with any backlogs in final year papers will not be allowed to participate.

8. All matches will be played according to the PDBA rules.

9. Each college is allowed to have two teams in a single category (Team A and Team B). Players are not allowed to swap teams after registration.

10. In case of a protest, teams must submit Rs. 3000/- as a protest fee and a protest application before or within one hour after the match.

11. All players must be bonafide students of the respective college they represent. Legal action will be taken against any team found with players who are not from the respective college/institution of same campus.

REGISTRATION RULES 

Register your team for Hoop It Up 2023 through our convenient and secure Google Form. The registration process will be live from 7 August 2023, with the last date of registering is 25th August 2023 on or before 12 noon.

1. Names and contact numbers of all team members.

2. Individual College Bonafide Certificate on the institution's letterhead for the entire team, signed by the sports department head/Principal.

3. ERP portal with logged-in credentials (screenshots not allowed.)
